Over two sun-soaked weeks of JCPA’s intensive summer workshop, the stage becomes Junie B.’s wild, wonderful kindergarten world—and every kid who signed up for the crash course gets to jump right in. Picture a room full of brand-new classmates who met on Day 1, now racing through rehearsals like it’s recess: one boy perfects his “Philanthropist” strut, a girl nails the dramatic “I meant to” shrug, another discovers her inner spy while hiding under the craft table.

By performance day, these summer warriors—sweaty from dance breaks, hoarse from belting “Top Secret Personal Beeswax,” and bonded tighter than a friendship bracelet—bring Junie B.’s mischief, heart, and unstoppable curiosity to life. It’s sixty minutes of giggles, glitter glue, and first-time-stage-magic, all created in the whirlwind of two weeks where strangers became a class, and a class became a show.
